Jim founded Chicago Muay Thai in April, 2011 with over 25 years experience training in Muay Thai. He has coached 6 national champions and is currently the coach for Glory Kick Boxer, Ryot Waller and UFC Fighter, Razak Al-Hassan. Jim is a former competitive Bare Knuckle Fighter (18 yrs), the 2001 Shidokan Middleweight Team Champion, and 1998 Shidokan Cup runner-up (2nd place). He holds a Black Belt in Shidokan and Brown Belt Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (11 yrs). Jim was coached by Wayne Gregory and Pat White and has trained in Thailand since 1999.
Chris is a MMA strength and conditioning coach, Certified Personal Trainer (CMOFIT), fitness and nutrition coach, and Sport Yoga Certified. He is a coach for Professional Glory Kickboxer, Ryot Waller. Chris is also a former competitive bare knuckle fighter (7 yrs), 2005 World Shidokan Superfight Lightweight Champion, 2003 Stuttgart Germany (2nd place), and 2002 International Coupe De France Shidokan winner. He has over 35 years Martial Arts experience.
Mike is a former competitive fighter and coach with over 7 years experience training Muay Thai. He has a Blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and and extensive background in Kung Fu.
Jon is the 2019 National Super Lightweight TBA Champion with over 7 years experience training Muay Thai. He is the 2019 WMO Winner and is undefeated as a fighter (6-0).
John has over 20 years experience in various combat sports, having trained multiple professional fighters in both the UFC and Bellator. He has competed in boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, judo, wrestling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and Pankration. John has a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has trained in Thailand.
Michelle has been at Chicago Muay Thai since 2015, with over 12 years experience training Muay Thai. Michelle trained Muay Thai for 5 years under Coach Andre Madiz and submission grappling for 1 year under Alex Matusov, a veteran of the Soviet National Team. She is undefeated as a fighter.
Andre competes in both national and local Muay Thai tournaments with over 5 years experience training Muay Thai. He is a 2019 Revgear Tournament Finalist, 2019 TBA Tournament C Class National Light Middleweight Finalist and 2019 Revgear Tournament B Class National Super Welterweight Finalist.
