Alex Hernandez

Alexander Hernandez is a 10-year Muay Thai practitioner, competitor, and coach who began his journey in 2016 at Chicago Muay Thai. A 9-time USA National Champion, 2025 IFMA Pan-American Gold Medalist, 2023 WBC Pan-American Gold Medalist, and 3-time IFMA Team USA athlete, Alex has built his career through disciplined training and high-level competition.

Alex has spent extensive time in Thailand living, training, and fighting full-time, gaining experience similar to many professional Thai fighters. He has trained at Sinbi Muay Thai and Looksuan Muay Thai Camp, competing on promotions including NKL, MAX Muay Thai, Rajadamnern Stadium events, and numerous festival fights throughout Thailand.

As a coach, Alex emphasizes strong fundamentals, technical precision, and purposeful repetition. His philosophy is that mastery comes from continually refining the basics and always striving to improve, no matter your experience level.
