Born and raised in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, I’ve been an athlete my entire life. Growing up, I competed in wrestling, rugby, and golf before eventually finding my passion in Muay Thai. For the past seven years, I have dedicated myself to training and studying the art of Muay Thai. Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to compete in Mexico, while also traveling to Thailand to immerse myself in authentic Thai-style training and culture. Those experiences helped shape not only my skills as a fighter but also my philosophy as a coach.Outside of the gym, I enjoy staying active whether I am on a kayak down the river or running around Chicago. I enjoy traveling solo and meeting people around the world. My coaching style is detail-oriented and technique-driven. I believe in mastering the fundamentals, building good habits, and developing proper mechanics before focusing on speed and power. When technique comes first, everything else follows.I believe in training hard, but training smart. Whether your goal is to get in shape, learn self-defense, compete, build confidence, or develop mental toughness and perseverance, I’m here to help guide that journey. If you’re looking to challenge yourself and become the strongest version of yourself—both physically and mentally—ask for Gil
