The first 30 minutes consist of fundamental drills using pads and heavy bags. The next 30 minutes consist of Muay Thai specific training and conditioning drills, including stretching, light weights, and bodyweight. Train like a fighter even if you don't fight.

The difference between Muay Thai and "Kickboxing" is Muay Thai uses Elbow and Knee strikes as well as "the Clinch" where Kickboxing only uses kicks and punches with limited knees.
